We’re Jeff and Michelle Croteau. As our own bodies, goals and lives changed, we realized good coaching could not be one-size-fits-all. Peak Life Fitness grew from that experience — a place where coaching, strength, nutrition and accountability are built around the person standing in front of us.
For years, both of us could train hard, recover, and keep moving without thinking too much about it. Then things started to change.
Jeff began dealing with a back that required more consideration, joints that did not always tolerate training the same way, and changes in body composition that forced him to rethink both training and nutrition. Instead of giving up the way he wanted to train, he began experimenting with different strength-training methods, exercise progressions and nutrition strategies.
Michelle was experiencing her own version of the same thing. Her knees, back and mobility meant she was modifying more movements and paying closer attention to what her body could do well — not simply trying to keep up with the person next to her.
Neither of us wanted easier training. We wanted smarter training.
That experience became the foundation for how we coach at Peak Life Fitness today: understand the person first, then build the training and support around them.

Your starting point matters. Training should reflect your current abilities, goals and experience.
Our Semi-Private Strength Training model uses a two-week Body Mapping process and roughly 90 assessed movements and exercises to help us build training around the individual.
Hyper-Personalized Nutrition begins with a detailed intake covering goals, preferences, dislikes, allergies, dietary restrictions, lifestyle, activity level and household needs.
Progress is not just what happens this week. We want training, nutrition and habits you can continue building on.

Coach-led, structured training with energy, accountability and community. You follow the session with the group while our coaches guide the workout and help you train at an appropriate level.

Hyper-Personalized Training in a group of no more than six members per coach. Each person follows an individualized strength program informed by Body Mapping, mobility, fitness level, goals and progress.
Every current Peak Life Fitness program includes unlimited Large Group Training and unlimited Semi-Private Strength Training sessions.
A program is only useful if it fits the person expected to follow it.
Training should help you feel capable, confident and prepared for life outside the gym.
You should understand what you are doing, why you are doing it and how it connects to your goals.
The best nutrition strategy is one built around your preferences, responsibilities and circumstances.
You can train alongside other people without being forced into the exact same program.
You'll find people at different ages, different fitness levels and different places in their journey. Some love the energy of Large Group Training. Others need the individualized structure of Semi-Private Strength Training. Many use both.
You'll see coaches teaching, adjusting, answering questions and paying attention. You'll see people working hard without needing to perform for the room.
Most importantly, you'll find a coaching environment where knowing your goals matters more than assuming what your goals should be.
Your consultation is a conversation with Jeff or Michelle about your goals, your starting point and the kind of coaching that fits your life.
